This work stages a quiet arrangement of weight, restraint, and handling. A stone rests on a domestic surface, held within a loose system of chains and gloved hands. The materials suggest an act of care or maintenance, yet the configuration implies control, pressure, and containment.

The gloves, typically associated with protection and hygiene, appear detached from any body, fixed into a structure that limits their movement. The stone—dense, inert, and vaguely organic—becomes the focus of an ambiguous operation: it is neither fully supported nor entirely free.

Suspended between gesture and mechanism, the work examines how acts of handling can shift between care and constraint, where touch is replaced by structure, and weight is both physical and symbolic.

This work began with a simple image from a dream:
the wings of a butterfly, hovering without a body.

The form is reconstructed digitally, but treated as if it were a found object — a specimen that exists somewhere between biology and artifact. It resembles a creature, yet also feels mechanical, almost ceremonial.

Across different landscapes — rocks, open fields, artificial lights — the butterfly appears repeatedly, like an apparition or a memory that refuses to disappear.

The work explores the moment when an object stops being an object and begins to feel alive.

The butterfly is not meant to represent a real species.
It is closer to a trace — something seen briefly, remembered imperfectly, and reconstructed afterward.

7 Domestic Systems II: Suspended Body

This work assembles domestic fragments into a fragile, body-like structure. A lampshade, hanger, and a pair of gloves are suspended together, loosely held by wire and tension. The form suggests a figure, yet remains incomplete—neither fully functional nor entirely human.

Objects associated with the home and everyday maintenance are displaced from their original roles. The gloves hang without touch, the hanger no longer supports clothing, and the lampshade ceases to illuminate. Instead, they form a quiet structure of support and suspension, where balance feels provisional and unstable.

The work lingers between presence and absence, proposing a body shaped not by anatomy, but by the systems and materials that surround it.

This work explores the ambiguous boundary between object and body.
A fragile glass vessel is supported by soft, skin-like forms that resemble pebbles yet evoke flesh. The organic shapes appear to grow from the object, forming an unstable structure where the roles of support and growth become uncertain.
Suspended between balance and collapse, the piece stages a quiet negotiation between material, gravity, and the suggestion of a living presence emerging from an inanimate thing.

This work assembles broken domestic objects into an altar-like structure.
Candlesticks, chains, and fragments of metal form a skeletal architecture that holds a fragile living element — a branch with exposed roots.

The structure resembles a ritual device: something built to contain, suspend, or prepare a body.
Organic growth appears within a framework of restraint, where chains wrap around the metal supports and the candle introduces time through slow burning and melting wax.

Using found and damaged objects, the work transforms remnants of everyday life into a quiet ceremonial system — a place where growth, decay, and control coexist.
